The shanty festival has been entirely run by volunteers, all the performers give their time freely and we keep our costs to the absolute minimum so that it can be free to attend during the day, with just a modest charge this year for the evening sessions.

But as well as having a great time, our objective is to raise as much money as possible and over the past few years we have raised around £30,000 for the RNLI,  Children's Hospice South West and the Somerset Prostate Support Association.

Every penny we save in putting on the festival goes straight to our charities, so if your company can help us in any way, we would really appreciate it.
